Elektror apprentices support children with cancer

Tübingen – Already for the sixth time Elektror airsystems donates to an organization for children with cancer.

The apprentices Maximilian Hanninger and Miriana Zoumaia handed over their symbolic cheque to the „Förderverein für krebskranke Kinder e.V.” on Monday, 16 January 2017. It is very important for the manufacturer of industrial fans to support this project every year. Last year the apprentices visited the so-called parents’ house, so this year it was possible to visit the children’s clinic. Each visit makes Elektror aware of the importance of donations and how even small donations can improve the children’s stay at the clinic. Donations are used for painting walls, buying comfortable seats for visitors or improving nursing, care and therapy.

The money is collected through an annual tombola at the Elektror Christmas Party. Each employee has the opportunity to purchase tombola tickets. The tombola is filled with presents of suppliers, which have been collected over the whole year. At the children’s clinic the children get everything they need like food, medicine, toys and even school lessons, if they are not able to go to school for three weeks or longer.
